IN MY OWN WORDS |
What type of player are you on and off the field? |
| On the field, I enjoy the responsibility of being in a leadership role. I have a great rapport with my coaches and teammates and bring a sense of calm and control to the huddle. I also motivate those around me to reach their full potential. Off the field, I am a very low key individual who spends most of my time with my family and friends. I enjoy playing video games and staying in shape. I am a very responsible and disciplined person who likes to be punctual. Also, I have a great sense of humor. |
Why should a college or university consider you for their program? |
| I am an extremely coachable student athlete who has incredible upside and continued physical development as I am a young senior (just turned 17). I have played the QB position each of the last 8 years so I enjoy being in a leadership role. Also, I have had a winning record each of those 8 years. I have a great desire to play this game at the next level and I will always be a student of the game. I have experience adapting to change as I transitioned to Texas High School ball (now at the 5A level) after spending my childhood and freshman year in the Chicago area. I believe playing at the Texas 5A level has prepared me for the next level as I continue to search for my next challenge and college future. In addition to playing QB, I have also long snapped, held for PAT's and played some TE. |
What are your strengths and weaknesses? |
| My strengths are clearly my arm strength and accuracy. Reading defenses is another strength of mine. I have been extremely durable throughout my career and remain completely dedicated to my school and team. I take great pride in the discipline I portray. The area I have spent the most time improving this year has been my running game and footwork. One opportunity area for me is to continue to work on improving my 40 time which I have done each year. Something that I can't do anything about is my age as I will be a 17 year old Senior but I am beyond that in years as it relates to being a leader, being responsible and being accountable to my family, teachers, coaches and teammates. |
