La Marque is back again. With a heavy return on offense and decent return on defense, there is no reason this team will not be a serious contender for the state championship in 2005. Castille and Mullins are the key players on offense to look out for while on defense Michael Ray and Durklyn Haynes should be the key focus points. There is plenty of size, experience and speed available on this team, not to mention the depth. It will be critical for the Cougars to finish strong with a two game road trip to Friendswood and Texas City back to back.
